Everything's A Drama!

Posted: 15 December 2007

Over the coming months you will see changes throughout the diary, which we hope, you will enjoy.  Our aim is to provide a more diverse and balanced programme by reintroducing drama, developing dance and opera and including a more varied range of music styles - mixed in with plenty of your old favourites!

For our forthcoming spring season we are delighted in announce the visit of two new and exciting, 'all-star cast' dramas to The Beck:

In January, Ian Dickens Productions brings the classic Victorian thriller The Late Edwina Black by William Dinner and William Morum.  With a cast led by Stephen McGann (Emmerdale) and Stephen Beckett (Coronation Street, The Bill).

February sees Bill Kenwright presenting Sleuth by Anthony Shaffer.  'The World's Greatest Thriller' is more than just a 'whodunit' and promises to baffle even the most proficient sleuth!  Starring Simon MacCorkindale (Casualty, Falcon Crest, Manimal) and Michael Praed (Robin of Sherwood, Dynasty).

And if that's not quite enough to entice you; there is a Combined Offer:
Book for both The Late Edwina Black and Sleuth and save £2.50 off each ticket*

We hope you will embrace and support our new venture by coming along and trying something different throughout the year.  We look forward to seeing you all soon.
